Kirtan Path, with special guest Dennis Hawk

We look forward to returning to this beautiful studio for our regular third-Saturday kirtan. We can't wait to sing with you all!

This time we will have a special guest for kirtan: Dennis Hawk from Wisconsin. His bio is below. He will bring some of his flutes and CDs for sale.

Blankets and chairs will be provided, as well as song sheets. A love donation is much appreciated, we suggest a similar amount that you would pay for a yoga asana class, about $10 - 15.

Dennis Hawk bio:
Dennis is a recording artist, Native American flute-maker, Yoga workshop leader, Yoga instructor, and Kirtan leader. With a degree in theology, Dennis' primary interest has always been spirituality. Combining his life-long interest in music and love of yoga, Dennis has created his own Yoga Jam (live, improvisational music for yoga). Most recently, Dennis has created recorded music for yoga practices in his collaborations with John Gibson and Mark Plopper. The first in this series, Saraswati, was released in the fall of 2012.Currently Dennis is making flutes, creating live music for yoga practices, leading Kirtan and yoga workshops, working on creating recorded music for yoga practices, completing his first Kirtan CD and writing a companion book to go with the CD which includes 108 meditations on the names of Shiva.
