About us
This meet up is for anyone called to the practice of Kirtan aka Bhakti Yoga. Whether totally new to the practice or an experienced Bhakti Yogi this meetup is another space to stay up to date on the Kirtan scene in our area and a place to invite those you think may benefit from this practice to kirtans. It is my goal that this meetup expands our community and serves as a go to place for finding out what is where when as far as kirtans go. The More the Better is always my philosophy when it comes to kirtan. And we are SO SUPER BLESSED in Wisconsin with all the great opportunities it can be hard to keep track of them all! So here is a space dedicated to just that. Together we can join in community with sacred song opening our hearts and souls to our healing and wholeness and shining that light out into our world. Oh the JOY that can come from this Practice. <3

Supersonic Soul Circle Kirtan - Ecstatic Dance to Follow
Perennial Yoga, 5500 E Cheryl Pkwy Suite 101, Fitchburg, WI, USWe're delighted to continue our heart-expanding practice of Kirtan, followed by Ecstatic Dance!
Kirtan or Kirtana (Sanskrit: कीर्तन; IAST: Kīrtana) is a Sanskrit word that means "narrating, reciting, telling, describing" of an idea or story. It's a beautifully soulful live musical adventure, spanning the spectrum of emotions and intensities, with mindfulness. We will call to you with our musical ideas and invite you to respond in whichever way moves you. Meditate, sing, play, and dance the names of the divine within yourself and in our circle. Our approach to Kirtan is modern, with playfulness, intentionality, and improvisation as major themes.
Note: We aspire in our practice as mystics to seek a truth beyond any doctrine, philosophy, or concept. Yet, we recognize the wisdom of all traditions. We are inclusive, and believe foremost in the power of love and harmony, and disavow dogma.

Ecstatic Dance is a safe container for movement, expression, and embodiment. We craft intentional playlists that follow a meaningful arc. Use the music as a catalyst to connect to your body's innate wisdom to transform, release, and find freedom.
We will gather at Perennial Yoga - Fitchburg. It's a magnificent space to behold in its own right, with the capacity to reflect and contain our energies, harmonies, and melodies.
