Our picnic potluck are always so much fun, that we just couldn't wait to have another one!
And so bring your comfy jumpers and something to help fill up our bellies for another regathering where we can share with each other our favourite dishes (or even try making something completely new!).
To tackle the usual parking challenges, we're setting this session up as a lazy afternoon picnic, so don't eat too much in the morning as we always have heaps to enjoy.
Transport Notes :
- For those driving : Sydney Park is located at the intersection of three roads : King St (from Newtown), Princess Highway and Sydney Park Road. Suggest you park in the parking lot accessible via the Princess Highway, near Barwon Rd (entrance immediately on the left, after turning right on Princess Highway from King Street).
- If you're coming by Public Transport, the park is a short 5 min walk from St Peters station. Easy peasy.
We will provide contact information, along with a more detailed map of where we will be sitting the morning of the event once we find a spot. it will be near the Princess Hwy parking and chimney stacks.
Let us know in the comments section what dish you'd like to bring to help us avoid the risk of duplicates (ie. too much dessert... is there such a thing really though?!).
Dishes Being Brought for the Potluck :
- Hot Mulled Wine (Natia)
- Savoury Dish or Drink (Shona)
- Savoury Entree (Ankit)
- Savoury Snack (Paul L)
- Crackers (Natia)
- Soup TBC (Paul)
- Keto Sausage Rolls (Brandon)
- Vegetarian Lasagna or something hearty (Sue Lee)
- Savoury Japanese Dish / Rice Ball (Ellie)
- Cake (Nu Fern)
- More to come as people land on their preferred dishes
We will have tables we can place many of our goodies on and we'll also have a couple of large picnic blankets. I'll have disposable cups, plates and cutlery available.
There are toilets and parking on site & nearby.
Looking forward to hearing (and tasting) what everyone is bringing !
Cheers,
Natia
