Our FREE dance lessons are designed for people new to dancing or who have never danced π£ππ½
Suppose you have previous experience, excellent! We will show you how to build upon your knowledge to become a better dancer.

We start the lessons at 7:00 PM sharp. We ask that you arrive before 6:50 to complete the registration.
If you have not done so. Please make a name tag, find a comfortable spot, get a drink or two, and meet your classmates and or have a bit of dinnerπ

What to wear? πππ
Wear comfortable casual clothes and shoes. Shoes with leather or smooth bottoms make your turns, pivots, and spins easier to execute.
What to bring? πππ
Your smile and your absolute fun self. If you can, bring a friend or two. It makes learning even more fun. Sharing is caring!
What to expect? π€
The lesson plan for our Foundation & Fundamental classes is split into two sessions with a 7-10 minute break between the two sessions.
We usually will rotate teaching the four most popular social dances each week. Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba/Semba, Rueda de Casino. Occasionally, we offer a special dance series with guest instructors πππ»

Session 1 πΆπ£
Warm-Up and Coordination
We teach popular Line Dance to get you in the grove.
We will teach you the seven foundational steps of 13 popular social dances, including freestyle club dancing. These are foundational moves that anyone can do, and you can practice at home without a partner.
π£ Learning these foundational steps will improve your two left feet and boost your coordination and confidence, all while developing your rhythm with fun and easy footwork.
You will also learn that these Foundation steps are based on dances like Merengue, Club Dance Two Step, and Cumbia.
β° 6-7 minute break, use the toilet, get a drink, and cool down.
Our classes are free, but we need your support in purchasing food or drinks from the venue if you can. It will allow us to continue to use this beautiful venue for free and to provide you with FREE Dance classes π

Sessions II πΆππ½
Learn 4 Foundation and Fundamental movements of Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba/Semba, or Swing partner dancing.
π«π½ No partner is required as we rotate partners to help facilitate everyoneβs learning. If you have that special partner/friend and do not wish to rotate, no problem, just let us know.

Practice what you learned with music by DJ Jinggo.
π£ This is the most important part of the evening: PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE is how you will improve your dance skills and build your dance confidence.

We provide a βSafe Dance Spaceβ for everyone. We have a zero tolerance for any inappropriate behaviour or harassment. You will be reported to the proper authorities.
