Kadampa Meditation Centre Netherlands is dedicated to bringing peace and happiness to the world by offering meditation classes, retreats and special events. Prayers for World Peace is a practice introduced by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche to give members of the public an opportunity to visit the centre and join in prayers and silent meditation for world peace once a week.

Through understanding Buddha’s teachings on Karma we will learn practical methods to prevent future problems and to actively create the causes for the happiness and good conditions we long for.
Our Karma is not a punishment, nor is it fixed. When we come to understand Buddha’s profound and practical teachings on Karma, we will become empowered to transform our experiences and learn to consciously shape our future with intention, clarity and wisdom.
In so doing, we will discover a profound sense of inner peace, joy and a practical optimism that we can indeed create the life we long for, and finally help others do the same.
Attend any class you like. Classes are suitable for both beginners and those with some meditation experience.
No prior experience or special clothing is required.
