About us

Christians assert that they have the greatest story ever told. That can be rigorous truth compatible with scientific realism. To share that truth the infinite domain of all possible story-tellings must be carved to include knowable norms of the sacred in Christianity as they illuminating the physically real. Such messages convey a joyous connection with the ultimate. Those who already feel such a connection will can delight in hearing, creating and sharing creative new forms of sacred expression as it lights up more thoughtful paths for our future.

Christians often ask (WWJD) what would Jesus do? Christians know that Jesus is deemed to be the Prince of Peace and an infinitely loving being who is one with all of creation. He has the power to forgive all sins. [Sin-definition: All prior conditions that prevent someone from feeling a oneness with God]. He would then know how to illuminate a sacred vision of peace, love and bliss.

Knowing what Jesus would do means knowing what Jesus would see and how he would see it. Thomas Trahern was a 17th century preacher and poet who suggest what that might mean with this stanza:

Your enjoyment of the world is not right
Till every morning you awake in Heaven
Look out at the sky and earth feeling celestial joy
Look at your life and see you yourself in paradise
And regard all people with reverent esteem as if you lived among angels.

For Christians, this seeing of the sacred is what Christ would see. Believing in Christ means seeing our reality as Christ would see it, compete with his joy in the seeing of it. That feeling of celestial joy is more is valid if it includes a shared vision of a paradise of our creation. A unity of goal seeking across the sacred and the secular entails creating the Heaven of the possible.

Einstein wanted to know the mind of God. His formulations of natural law captured how God commands physical events to follow from prior conditions. These laws are defined by God the Father Almighty (Christian theology assumes this as part of creation).

The Holy Spirit is given no speaking role in the Bible. Christian see the Holy Spirit illuminating the truth of God from the first times anyone spoke of God through all ways that wisdom and joy lights up our lives now. In a mathematically rigorous theology the Holy Spirit must become a mega-philosopher. He must define how truth can be known. He must show how that truth connects to ultimate oneness with God.

What if we we create fictional characters with IQs of 200, and call them the Holy Trinity? Arthur Conan Doyle created Sherlock Holmes, a character much brighter than himself. He created a superhero with readers willing to pay big bucks for new stories about him. He hated doing that. He did not think it reflected a quality of writing that he aspired to achieve. Readers crave a God-like intelligence in their heroes. Such stories allow them to imagine that they might achieve the qualities of their heroes.

Millions of preachers and authors have written their many sermons and books speaking for God. There is no guarantee that we will do better, But the Organizer of this meetup group has studied many of the geniuses of the modern world. The notion of Christ as a scientifically literate 21st century super intellect selling his love, peace, and redemption, may actually change world-wide thinking.

Is fiction really fiction if all fictional characters are dedicated to illuminating reality itself? All Christians know that God is infinitely beyond anything that we can possibly imagine. Anything we might write is of necessity fiction in that it will be a pale reflection of the ultimate.

Secular people might not appreciate the Christian eyes of God including wisdom exceeding prior thinking in the halls of academia. But that would be an implicit proof that God is real.

In October of 2016 the Organizer of this Meetup met with Rev. Clint Clifton. He want to know how to bring the word of God to atheists. God heard his prayers because his heart was pure love in a condition that made no sense without that purity of heart. As a very intelligent atheist, I could have ripped his theology apart in more ways than could be counted. However, he added to the evidence that some Christians with a pure heart could do things that secular people cannot achieve. Those living in Christ are connected with the cosmos in a way that has to be respected and understood. And atheists are insane if they did not understand the power of Christian community. The eyes of God can see things that secular eyes almost never see.

This meetup will be first and foremost a means for Christians to find blissful connections with other Christians while meeting in his name. We will discuss what we see as we channel the transcendental love and peace of Christian teachings. Let us create our stories with three superstar characters called the Holy Trinity. Let atheists call them fictions. We can agree that for them they are fictions. Our “fictional” characters will illuminate a more loving, peaceful and prosperous path forward. Traditional Christians know that a living God can show all how to live. Christian logical forms of thought can define the path without demanding that atheists accept a “ghost” in the system for which belief is not possible.

Being one with God is a state of bliss. Traditional Christianity shares stories are designed to connect people with God. A 21st century science of the spiritual can radically enhance the power of our stories to share the love, peace and prosperity that flows from being one with God. Join us if you dare to grow as a vessel of God’s love.
