The Hangover- The Hike

This trip will be limited on attendance.

If you have never done it before you should. If you have done it before, I believe you have been waiting to do it again.

Let's take a little trip out to the Hangover. The Hangover is located in the Joyce Kilmer-Slickrock Wildness. You can look back into the Smokies from the Hangover. Seeing Clingmans Dome and many other pecks from a different direction. The views are something amazing to see.
The views will not disappoint!

Parking is limited and carpooling is recommended if you are coming from Knoxville. Some of us will be carpooling from Indian Boundry Campground where we will be camping this weekend. The parking area is right off of the Cherohala Skyway at Beech Gap.

You are looking at 12.5 miles with 2514ft of gain as a total.

We will check out Bob's Bald before heading on out to the Hangover. You will find awesome views in all directions, with a great view back into our Smoky Mountains.
