Should we hike, should we swim? Let's do both! West Prong to Townsend Wye

It's hot out so let's take a nice hike and end it in the water to cool off.
(The water ending is optional) but for those who choose to, it will be very refreshing. Bring a float for the water if you like.

We will meet at the Townsend Wye parking area and then shuttle over to our starting point and take a nice walk in the woods back to the Wye. Please volunteer to help with the shuttling.

This is a 10-mile hike with only 1,800 ft (+/-) of gain. Did I mention how nice the water is going to feel at the end. The early start is about the parking filling up at the Wye.

*We will hike, We will swim and then afterwards for those that choose, we will stop in at the Abbey for food and a drink.
