Holston River Paddle

Come join us for a fun paddle on the Holston River.
Plan to meet at the Asheville Highway Access Area at 10:00 am. We will set our shuttles and try to get on the river by 11:00 am.

There will be two take outs for your convivence.
Option 1: Put in at Asheville Hwy. and take out at Holston Park boat ramp. Around 4 miles
Option 2: Put in at Asheville Hwy. and take out at South Knoxville bridge. Around 8 miles.
Set your shuttle accordingly.

Things you will need other than the obvious, boat and paddle, are:
Life jacket (must have one whether you wear it or not). It is highly recommended to wear it.
Water
River snack.

Heads up ... Tennessee will playing UAB at Neyland Stadium so boat traffic will be a little heavy with the Vol Navy on the move.
