Let's plan a Christmas Spirit Hike!!
Details
It's that time of year again!
**Wear you best Santa, Elf, Reindeer or Christmas attire for a fun and easy hike. This is meant to be a fun and social time.
Afterwards we will have lunch together in Gatlinburg, if you would like to join us.
• What we'll do: HAVE FUN!!!
This is a pretty easy hike. It is only 5+ miles. So, the total hike is just at 6 miles or so.
We will meet at the Sugarland Visitors Center at 10:02am
We will take a walk on the nature trail that goes by the John Ownby Cabin. Then go over to see Cataract Fall, before taking the Gatlinburg Trail into town. Once there (if you want to join us, we will get lunch. After that we will take the Gatlinburg Trail back to our vehicles at Sugarlands.
*Afterwards if you want, we can pick a place to get a bite to eat in Gatlinburg. (Most likely the Smoky Mountain Brewery)
** Kids of all ages are welcome to come. Young and old!
***Also, if you have found yourself on the naughty list this year, this hike may help you get off it with Santa.

Your hiking items, good hiking footwear, water and a snack if you want one. Dress for the weather.
• Important to know
Some of this hike is off trail, but there is a faint footpath to follow. This is one of my favorite hikes. I hope you enjoy it.
