Let's Meetup Under the Bridge and Walk along the River
Governor Ned McWherter / Riverside Landing Park, 1648 Riverside Dr, Knoxville, TN, USWe'll meet here under the bridge at Governor Ned McWherter / Riverside Landing Park. There's plenty of parking, it's easy to get to and it will be out of the rain if there is any..
We'll walk on the green-way path towards Volunteer Landing then back. Overall down and back, a little over two miles. Fairly level paved path. About an hour total.
Here's how to get to the park. Interstate 40 East or West depending on where you're coming from. Take the James White Parkway get off at Hill Avenue, cross it then take the exit "Riverside Drive." At the end of the exit, turn right onto MorningSide Drive/Riverside Drive then just before you go under the high bridge (James White Parkway as it crosses the river) turn right, cross the tracks and bear left as you enter the parking lot under the bridge.
