Knoxville InStep Walking Group

In the hopes that we will have better weather this time, we will attempt this route again!

This stroll through the forest will take us through several wonderfully maintained trails at the UT Aboretum. We'll get to see various flora along the approximately 2.5 mile walk. The gravel/dirt path is well kept but there will be various inclines as the aboretum was made with as much respect to the natural landscape as possible. We can go up the inclines slowly, but if these are a concern for you, you may benefit from bringing a walking stick.

We will meet at the park map near the parking lot (see picture). In the event of poor weather (again), we will move this walk to another week.

This is a paved walk along the Ten Mile Creek Greenway, which has several shady stretches. Please note that the walk has several inclines as it winds through part of the greenway's forest.

From Walker Springs Road, turn onto Kidder lane and go past Walker Springs Apartments. The park is located at the end of Kidder Lane. We will meet up at the gazebo in the picture.
