Lets Walk Close in Town

Let's take a walk along the "Bearden" Green-way - it is quite delightful.

For this week we'll walk along a paved out and back path and return to the parking lot. We'll meet in the parking lot of the KARM store in Bearden adjacent to "El Mezcal Mexican Restaurant" see pictures below.

For directions, it will be just behind Western Plaza on Kingston Pike. From #129 (Alcoa Highway) travel west and turn right onto "Forest Park Drive." You'll see the Mayo Garden center on your left and the Everly Brothers Park on the right. As soon as you turn right, turn right again into the parking lot. Go to the tight side of the lot right behind the Everly Brothers Park.

If you're coming East on I-40 take the Northshore/Papermill exit, go straight onto Northshore down to Kingston Pike. Turn left on KP and go about a mile. Kroger will be on the right and just beyond will be Mayo Garden Center. Get in the left lane at the light, turn left, then right into the parking lot of the KARM STORE. Meet in front of the Mexican restaurant.
