Mt. Douman（Shiga）Autumn Hiking & Hot Springs Tour　堂満岳（滋賀県）秋のハイキング＆温泉ツアー

This is a hike up Mt. Doman, which stands at an elevation of 1,057 meters in the Hira Mountain Range in Shiga Prefecture.
Since there are some slightly rugged rocky sections, this course is best suited for experienced hikers.
…That said, the organizer climbed it when they were 16, so it’s not that difficult.
Recommended for those who have participated in several Meetup hikes in the past.
After we descend, let’s soak in a hot spring to ease our fatigue before heading home!

8:00 Meet at Shiokouji Cafe on the 1st floor of JR Kyoto Station
8:12 Departure from each station for Omi Maiko *680 yen

11:10 Hidden waterfall
11:50 Aogare & Kinkuzu Waterfall (climb wild rocky terrain)

16:30 Those who do not go to Onsen (hot spring) will disband *30 min. walk to JR Hira Station

【Important Notes】
The times listed are approximate.
Participants involved in multi-level marketing (network marketing) are not permitted to join.
Except in emergencies such as illness, leaving the tour early is prohibited.
Elderly participants or those who are not confident in their physical fitness should refrain from participating or consult with us in advance, as this may lead to accidents or other problems.
The organizer assumes no responsibility for any accidents, theft, or situations where the event does not meet expectations on the day of the event; participation fees and transportation costs will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Photos of the event will be taken at various locations and may be used for promotional purposes for future events; please refrain from participating if you have any objections.
Photos will be sent to participants via LINE at a later date.

【About Mt. Doman】
Since the hiking bus to In-Taniguchi was discontinued in 2024, we will walk from the station to the trailhead (40–50 minutes).
The mountain is famous for its rhododendrons during Golden Week, but the trails are crowded during that time, so we will hike at a leisurely pace during a less crowded period.

【Additional Information on the Itinerary】
We will not be able to reply to individual messages on the day of the event.
You are not allowed to arrive late and try to catch up.
There are no shops or convenience stores near Hira Station, so please be sure to bring your own lunch and drinking water before we meet.
Please bring plenty of drinking water—at least 2 liters.
If you wish to meet up at Hira Station or In-Yaguchi, please let us know via message when you make your reservation.
We cannot accommodate requests to meet up en route made the night before or on the day of the event.
Meals are available at the hot spring.
The shuttle bus from the hot springs to the station is a minibus; if it’s full, you’ll need to walk to the station (20-minute walk).

【You will be removed from the group in the following cases】
× Making a reservation, forgetting to cancel, and not showing up
× Arriving late and trying to join the group partway through, or leaving early without permission
× Being a problematic complainer

【Participation Fee】
600 yen (cash, payable on the day)

滋賀県の比良山系にある、標高１０５７ｍの堂満岳へのハイキングです。
少しワイルドな岩場もありますので、どちらかと言えば経験者向けのコースです。
…とは言っても、主催者は１６歳の時に登ったことがあるので、それほど難しくはありません。
今までにmeetupで何度かハイキングに参加している方にお勧め。
下山後は温泉に入って疲れを癒してから帰りましょう～！

【行程】
８時００分　JR京都駅構内１階　塩公路カフェの前集合
８時１２分　近江舞子行きの各駅停車出発　※６８０円
８時５４分　JR比良駅に到着
１０時００分　イン谷口
１０時４０分　大山口
１１時１０分　かくれ滝
１１時５０分　青ガレ＆金糞滝（ワイルドな岩場を登ります）
１２時４０分　金糞峠　※昼食休憩
１４時１５分　堂満岳山頂　※標高１０５７ｍ
１５時４５分　ノタノホリ（池）
１６時２０分　イン谷口
１６時３０分　温泉に行かない人は解散　※JR比良駅まで徒歩３０分

１６時４０分　天然温泉 比良とぴあ　※入浴料６２０円
１７時５５分　無料送迎バス出発（最終便）
１８時００分　JR比良駅に到着

【確認事項】
記載時間は目安です。
マルチ商法（ネットワークビジネス）関係者は参加不可。
体調不良等の緊急時を除き、行程の途中で帰ることは禁止です。
高齢の方や、体力に自信の無い方は事故やトラブルの元になりますので、参加を控えるか、予めご相談下さい。
当日の事故や盗難、期待していた内容ではなかった等、いかなる場合でも主催者は責任を取りませんし、参加費や交通費の返金はありません。
イベントの様子を撮影し、今後の宣伝に使う場合があるので支障がある方は参加をお控え下さい。
写真は後日、参加者にラインで送ります。

【堂満岳について】
イン谷口までの登山バスが２０２４年に廃止になっているので、駅から登山口まで歩きます。（４０分～５０分）
GWの時期のシャクナゲが有名ですが、その時期は山道が混雑するので、空いている時期にゆったり登ります。

【行程の補足】
当日は個別メッセージの返信は出来ません。
遅刻して追いかけるのは禁止です。
比良駅周辺には売店などありませんので、昼食や飲料水は集合までに必ずご用意下さい。
飲料水は特に多めに、最低２リットル程度準備して下さい。
比良駅かイン谷口で合流希望の方は予約と同時にメッセージで連絡下さい。
前日夜や当日に連絡しての途中合流はNGです。
温泉では食事も可能です。
温泉から駅までの送迎バスは小型バスの為、乗れない場合は駅まで歩きます。（徒歩２０分）
