After a “brief” hiatus, we’re thrilled to announce the return of our legendary Korean Waves Happy Hour! Whether you’re a longtime member or a newcomer interested in Korean culture, this is the perfect chance to meet friendly faces, make new connections, and simply have fun in a welcoming atmosphere.
Our happy hour series has a rich history—over the years, we’ve hosted hundreds of attendees, and every event has been filled with laughter, good conversation, and shared stories. There’s no formal agenda—just drop by whenever you like, grab a bite or a drink, and enjoy the vibe! It’s all about making memories and building community.
What to Expect:
- Meet new friends and reconnect with old ones

- Share your favorite K-pop songs, drama recommendations, and travel tips

Location:
We’ll be gathering at bb.q Chicken Virginia Square, located at 3503 Fairfax Dr, Arlington, VA 22201. The menu features authentic Korean Fried Chicken and a wide selection of mouth-watering Korean dishes.
Getting There:
bb.q Chicken is right across the street from the Virginia Square–GMU Metro station (Orange/Silver line), making it super accessible by public transit. If you’re driving, there’s usually plenty of metered street parking in the neighborhood.
All are welcome! You don’t have to be Korean or speak Korean—just bring your curiosity and appetite. Feel free to invite friends, co-workers, or anyone who might enjoy the evening.
