Welcome to the Korean/English language exchange! As you can guess, we’re here to give people an opportunity to improve their English and/or Korean language skills.
한국어/영어 언어 교환에 오신 것을 환영합니다! 이 모임은 사람들에게 영어 또는 한국어 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 기회를 제공하기 위해 만들어졌습니다.
We are hoping participants be fluent in at least English or Korean. If not, don’t worry! We hope that everyone comes in with a genuine interest in learning more about Canadian/Korean culture and developing their language skills.
참가자들은 적어도 영어나 한국어 중 하나를 유창하게 구사할 것을 요구합니다. 하지만 그렇지 않더라도 걱정하지 마세요! 캐나다/한국 문화에 대해 더 배우고 언어 능력을 향상시키는 기회를 가지며 즐기기 바랍니다.
During meetings, people will be split into smaller groups (of at least 4 people), then rotated every 20 minutes. We hope you enjoy learning about others and making lots of new friends!
모임 중에는 인원을 최소 4명으로 나누어 20분마다 교대로 진행됩니다. 다른 사람들에 대해 알아가거 새로운 친구들을 만드는 즐거움을 느끼시길 바랍니다! (つ・▽・)つ⊂(・▽・⊂)
Please note that we want this to be a safe space – any questionable behaviour will not only reach our ears, but also make its way around the Vancouver community (independent of us). You’ve been warned.

Terms of Agreement:
1) Be kind and respectful / 친절하고 예의 바르게 행동해야 합니다.
2) No harassment of any sort inside or outside the meetup group / 모임 그룹 내외에서 어떠한 괴롭힘도 허용되지 않습니다.
3) I understand I need to be mindful about who I share contact information with and who I ask for contact information / 저는 연락처 정보를 주고 받을 때 주의를 기울여야 한다는 것을 이해합니다.(연락처 공유 이후에 벌어지는 어떠한 일들에 대한 책임은 본인 자신에게 있습니다.)
4) I will update my RSVP status if I cannot make it to the events / 행사에 참석할 수 없을 경우에는 RSVP(참석 의사 표시) 상태를 업데이트 해야 합니다.
5) I understand by RSVPing, I am taking up space at the event. If I fail to make it to events too many times, my membership will be revoked / RSVP로 모임 참석을 신청함으로써 저는 참가자 명단에 등록되는 것을 알 수 있으며, 모임에 반복해서 참석하지 않을 경우 회원 자격이 박탈될 수 있습니다.
6) The password is “Korean”, written in Korean / 비밀번호는 '한국어' 입니다.
7) If I have any questions or concerns, I know I can share with one of the group administrators / 궁금한 사항이나 우려 사항이 있으면 그룹 관리자 중 한 명에게 문의하십시오.
