Welcome to the Korean/English language exchange! As you can guess, we’re here to give people an opportunity to improve their English and/or Korean language skills.
한국어/영어 언어 교환에 오신 것을 환영합니다! 이 모임은 사람들에게 영어 또는 한국어 능력을 향상시킬 수 있는 기회를 제공하기 위해 만들어졌습니다.
We are hoping participants be fluent in at least English or Korean. If not, don’t worry! As long as everyone comes in with a genuine interest in learning more about Canadian/Korean culture and developing their language skills, you are welcome!
참가자들은 적어도 영어나 한국어 중 하나를 유창하게 구사할 것을 요구합니다. 하지만 그렇지 않더라도 걱정하지 마세요! 캐나다/한국 문화에 대해 더 배우고 언어 능력을 향상시키는 기회를 가지며 즐기기 바랍니다.
During meetings, people will be split into smaller groups (of at least 4 people), then rotated every 20 minutes. We hope you enjoy learning about others and making lots of new friends!
모임 중에는 인원을 최소 4명으로 나누어 20분마다 교대로 진행됩니다. 다른 사람들에 대해 알아가거 새로운 친구들을 만드는 즐거움을 느끼시길 바랍니다! (つ・▽・)つ⊂(・▽・⊂)
Please note that we want this to be a safe space – any questionable behaviour will not only reach our ears, but also make its way around the Vancouver community (independent of us). You’ve been warned.

커뮤니티의 안전과 모두의 안녕을 위해, 당사는 필요에 따라 특정인의 참여를 제한할 수 있습니다.
Terms of Agreement:
- Be kind and respectful / 친절하고 예의 바르게 행동해야 합니다.
- No harassment of any kind inside or outside the group / 모임 그룹 내외에서 어떠한 괴롭힘도 절대 허용되지 않습니다.
- Be mindful and respectful when exchanging contact or social media information. Pressuring others is forbidden and will result in immediate removal / 연락처나 SNS 정보를 주고받을 때 반드시 서로의 동의를 존중해야 하며, 강요할 경우 즉시 강제 탈퇴됩니다.
- Update your RSVP status if you can no longer attend / 행사에 참석할 수 없게 되면 RSVP 상태를 업데이트해야 합니다.
- RSVPing reserves a spot. If you repeatedly no-show, your membership may be revoked / RSVP를 통해 참가 신청을 하면 자리가 예약됩니다. 무단 불참이 반복될 경우 회원 자격이 박탈될 수 있습니다.
- The password is “한국어” written in Korean / 비밀번호는 ‘한국어’입니다.
- If you have any questions or concerns, contact one of the group admins / 궁금한 점이나 문제가 있으면 그룹 관리자에게 문의하세요.
