Informal get-together of Kotlin developers in Berlin

Details

Hello fellow Kotliners!

Let's start 2023 right and get together to a long-waited-for in-person event.

The fantastic people over at Bettermile are inviting us to have our first event after more than 2 years time.

Important information:
We want to have a save and healthy environment. To ensure this, we ask you to do a COVID-19 quick test at your arrival. For the 15 minutes it takes to do the test, we need you to keep your FFP2 mask on.
Once the test is negative, you can take off the mask.
Bettermile is providing the tests for us. So, all we need to do is to bring a mask with us and do the quick test.
This is our guest's protocol and we thank you for your cooperation.

Line up:
Title: "Kotlin For Infrastructur as Code with AWS CDK" by Peter Maedel and Kim Kunc

Summary: Showcasing the merits of using real code for IaC over templating languages, how to encapsulate common infra patterns with sensible defaults and thus enable every engineer with basic kotlin knowledge to participate in DevOps.

Address:
Bettermile / GLS eCom Lab GmbH Oranienstr. 183 // Aufgang B, 4. OG 10999 Berlin

COVID-19 safety measures

Event will be indoors
The protocol is the following: On your arrival, please wear a FFP2 mask. You are asked to do a self test at your arrival. (Tests will be provided) For the 15 minutes the tests take, we keep on our masks. Once your test is negative, you can take off your mask. In case the test comes back positive, we ask you to inform us and then go home and get well again.
The event host is instituting the above safety measures for this event. Meetup is not responsible for ensuring, and will not independently verify, that these precautions are followed.
