We are gearing up for our first events in Helsinki and looking for enthusiastic co-leaders to help shape the group.
Unlike single-niche or restricted groups, KOTO Social is an open, broad community designed to make connecting in Helsinki easy and natural, whether you're an international newcomer, a long-time resident, an introvert, or an extrovert.
What We Do
We host relaxed, small-group gatherings:
- Casual: Coffee, pub quizzes, dinners, and drinks
- Active: Walking routes, sauna nights, bouldering, sea dips
- Fun & Creative: Game nights, seasonal outings, workshops
The Essentials
- Inclusivity: Open to all ages (20s–60s+). Main language is English. Come solo or bring a friend.
- Platforms: RSVP via Meetup and Instagram.
- Cost: Free or pay-your-own-way (cafés, venues).

Why the Name "KOTO"?
In Finnish, koto stems from koti (home) and appears in the phrase tuntea olonsa kotoisaksi—meaning "to feel at home." The name reflects our mission to make Helsinki feel warm, welcoming, and like home for everyone.
