Welcome to the very first OpenKubes Launch Meetup!
Kubernetes is a platform for building platforms. OpenKubes takes this one step further: an open-source framework for building sovereign Kubernetes platform distributions — from bare metal and edge to on-premises and public cloud. Built on 20 documented architecture decisions, with stable contracts instead of fixed components.
In this first meetup, we'll introduce the OpenKubes vision, present the current project status, demonstrate what's already working — including a live demo of declarative cluster provisioning with private AI — and discuss our roadmap with the community.
