Get 10 actionable tips to tighten security and reduce your risk
Website security can feel complicated, especially when the advice online is often full of technical jargon, scare stories and expensive tools. This session keeps things practical.We’ll go through 10 straightforward things you can do to make a WordPress website safer, reduce common risks and avoid some of the mistakes that leave websites unnecessarily exposed.
We’ll cover areas such as passwords, user accounts, updates, plugins, hosting, login protection and other simple security habits that can make a real difference.
You don’t need to be a developer or cybersecurity expert. The goal is to leave with a clear checklist of things you can review on your own website.
## Build Your Own WordPress Theme
Use Create Block Theme to design, customise & export without code
Creating your own WordPress theme used to mean writing PHP, CSS and template files from scratch. That is no longer always the case.
In this session, we’ll look at Create Block Theme, a free WordPress plugin that lets you customise a modern block theme visually and then export those changes as your own theme.
