About us
# Organized by ASOCIACIÓN KUDWA
What we’re about:
Kudwa is a vibrant community of migrants, refugees, and anyone passionate about cultural diversity. We offer a space for people to join, learn, and share experiences through our Social Club, where members can manage and host events like workshops, talks, and social activities.
Our aim is to create a safe, inclusive, and open environment where every member can propose and organize meetups that add value to the community. Whether it’s sharing knowledge, learning something new, or just having fun, Kudwa Social Club fosters a collaborative atmosphere.
Who should join?
If you’re interested in intercultural exchange, integration, and capacity building, this is the place for you.
Everyone is welcome to attend or organize the meetups. Our main language is English, but we’re always here to help with translation if needed—everyone is welcome!
Join us and be part of a community that believes in sharing, learning, and connecting!

Club Rules:
- It is a safe space for everyone to participate and lead sessions without judgment
- Active listening is a skill we all should have
- Themes are completely open to whatever you are passionate about - In order to create a safe and inclusive space, we prefer to stay away from political or religious themes, because they can be polarizing and exclusionary.
- We are interested and bettered by the opinions of all no matter race, gender, sexual orientation, language, origin, etc..
- No one will be excluded from sharing their thoughts and everyone needs to be asked (but not forced) if they would like to participate
- If anyone is having trouble with language, everyone should be prepared to help translate and explain what is happening

Creating Inclusive and Accessible Spaces
Nun.cafe, c/ de Valldonzella, 52, Ciutat Vella, Barcelona, ESWe design spaces every day—our public spaces, digital platforms, social gatherings, and cultural events.
But how often do we pause to ask: who can truly access them?
What does real inclusion look like in practice?
In this session of Kudwa Kafe, we will explore access and inclusion through a framework grounded in international research on (in)accessible spaces. Together, we’ll look at access from both a micro lens—the small details we often overlook—and a macro lens—the wider systems that shape participation and belonging.
Through shared reflection and discussion, we’ll consider how to create inclusive physical, social, and digital spaces that welcome diverse communities and experiences.
