Colorful Canyon/ Barren Ridge Loop Hike
Details
It's been a few years since I did this hike so lets go for it. Colorful Canyon is the small but very interesting Canyon just before you get to Jawbone Store, west side of Hwy 14.
This terrain is pretty scary if you are not used to it. Slippery and rocky.
Not for beginners or wobbly, unstable hikers.
But a fun hike it is,
We start by heading into Colorful Canyon, then out wherever we can find a good place to crawl out. Then move across Barren Ridge above Jawbone Canyon. As some point we reach a dirt road that we will take for a while before sliding down a slope into Jawbone Canyon and then hike a different dirt road back to our cars.
Fun times.
