Cedar Creek Exploratory Hike, off trail
Details
Hi folks, this is an adventure hike! The trail isn’t clear, so lots of climbing over trees, rocks and water ways. This hike isn’t about distance or speed but to explore! The hike is Cedar Creek and hasn’t been used very frequently or cleared in years. You will get dirty, muddy and covered with ash, so wear old clothes.
You’ll be responsible for yourself and personal safety. I will maintain a medium pace nevertheless, stopping to enjoy the scenery. He has been on this trail and found a couple of small caves, waterfalls, remains of animal bones and a few other surprises. Anyone can turn around at anytime but strongly suggest you find a partner to track back to the car.
Feel free to contact me for more information regarding what the hike will be about.
Hikers will meet at 8:30 am at the park and ride by the Lutheran Church.
The group will be kept small due to the difficulty of the hike.
