KWJavaScript/GPUG Annual Summer BBQ - 2025

After a busy month of travelling last month, we're back, joining GPUG for their summer BBQ. This is a casual event, though we're sure there will be lots of JavaScript and TypeScript discussions over food. Per the GPUG event, please RSVP to either KWJS or GPUG (please not both) so we have numbers. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Hey GPUG friends!

The sun is shining, the grill is fired up, and it’s time for our annual summer BBQ! Join us for an evening of food and friendly competition at Vehikl’s Waterloo Office, kicking off the fun on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at 6:00 PM.

Menu Highlights:
• Classic grilled favourites: burgers & hotdogs (including vegetarian options)
• Crispy chips and refreshing pop to round it out

Activities to make it memorable

Return of the Brick Game — Test your endurance by seeing how long you can hold a brick with a completely outstretched arm.
Horseshoes — Channel your inner cowboy (or cowgirl), toss those shoes, and let’s see those rings.
Board Games — Prefer something more laid-back? We’ll have a selection ready for strategic—or silly—play.

Whether you're a seasoned brick-holder, board-game strategist, or just in it for good food and camaraderie, there’s something for everyone. Bring your game face, your appetite, and maybe even a friend!
