Every other Wednesday evening, we host Mingle Night, a relaxed international meetup for locals, expats, travelers, students, and internationally minded people in Kyoto 😊

Come meet new people, share experiences, and enjoy meaningful conversations in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere 🙌

• You don’t need perfect English. The host will help you join the conversation

• We keep the group small so everyone can join in comfortably

💡 What to Expect
This is a social meetup rather than a formal language exchange event. We may naturally talk about languages and cultures, but the main focus is getting to know people, exchanging ideas, and enjoying conversations beyond small talk.

👤 Meet Your Host
Hosted by Katsuya, a Kyoto local who speaks English and French and has spent more than a decade living abroad and traveling as a digital nomad in over 40 countries. With roots in Kyoto and an international family and network, he brings both local insight and a global perspective to the community.

Kamogawa Creative Base is a cozy creative space beside the Kamo River, within walking distance of Shijo, Kawaramachi, and Gion. It offers a relaxed setting where you can unwind, enjoy conversations, and make new connections beside the Kamo River.

Let’s get into the Halloween spirit with a fun night of Japanese origami and kirigami by the Kamo River 🎃✨ We’ll gather in a cozy machiya-style space to make cute paper jack-o’-lanterns, ghosts, bats, and more — all while enjoying friendly conversations and relaxed Kyoto vibes 🟧✂️😄
