Mt.Daimonji Casual Hike 🥾🌿 Fun and Friendly 😄

Join us for a casual hike with great views and friendly people! It's a perfect chance to enjoy Kyoto's scenery and make new friends 📸☺️🏔️

We’ll hike up to the Daimonji Mountain (大文字山) viewpoint, the famous site of the summer “Gozan no Okuribi” fire festival. We'll return from the viewpoint (not the summit). The whole trip takes about 2.5 hours and is beginner-friendly 😄🥾🌿

📍 Meeting Point: Shirakawa Imadegawa Crossing (10 minutes’ walk from Ginkakuji Temple, also accessible by bus)
🕒 Time: 2:00 – 4:30 PM (round trip, including a break at the viewpoint)
💰 Fee: 400 yen (cash, to cover organizing costs)
🥾 Bring: Comfortable shoes and at least 500ml of water 💧

💡 Notes

• The trail is beginner-friendly, but includes steps and slopes — please wear proper shoes 🥾
• In case of rain, the event may be canceled (updates will be posted) ✨
• Bicycle parking is available near the trail 🚲

今回のハイキングでは、「五山の送り火」で有名な大文字山のビューポイントまで登り、そこで折り返して戻ります（山頂までは登りません）。初心者の方でも安心して参加できるコースで、所要時間は約2時間半です😄🥾🌿

📍 集合場所：白川今出川交差点
（銀閣寺から徒歩10分／バスでもアクセス可能）
🕒 時間：14:00 ～ 16:30（往復・ビューポイントで休憩あり）
💰 参加費：400円（現金）
🥾 持ち物：歩きやすい靴、飲み物（500ml以上がおすすめ）

💡 注意事項

• トレイルは初心者向けですが、階段や坂道があります。ハイキング向きの歩きやすい靴でご参加ください。
• 雨天の場合は中止になる可能性があります（その際は事前にお知らせします）✨
• 付近に自転車駐輪場があるので、自転車で集合場所に来てもOKです🚲️
