Every other Wednesday evening, we host Mingle Night, a relaxed international meetup for locals, expats, travelers, students, and internationally minded people in Kyoto 😊
Come meet new people, share experiences, and enjoy meaningful conversations in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere 🙌

English is our shared language, while Japanese and other languages are also welcome when everyone in the conversation is comfortable with them. Mingle Night is all about spontaneous conversations, shared stories, and genuine connections here in Kyoto 🩵💛❤️

💡 What to Expect
This is a social meetup rather than a formal language exchange event. We may naturally talk about languages and cultures, but the main focus is getting to know people, exchanging ideas, and enjoying conversations beyond small talk.
👤 Meet Your Host
Hosted by Katsuya, a Kyoto local who speaks English and French and has spent more than a decade living abroad and traveling as a digital nomad in over 40 countries. With roots in Kyoto and an international family and network, he brings both local insight and a global perspective to the community.

Kamogawa Creative Base is a cozy creative space beside the Kamo River, within walking distance of Shijo, Kawaramachi, and Gion. It offers a relaxed setting where you can unwind, enjoy conversations, and make new connections beside the Kamo River.
