The original Kyoto Free Walking Tour
through Gion & Higashiyama district!
During the tour, you will visit some of Kyoto’s beautiful Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples, experience the famous geisha quarters of Gion, and walk through the beautifully preserved Higashiyama district.

This is a free walking tour,
We follow the worldwide famous "free walking tour" concept.
The tour is free but that also means that the guides don't get a salary or hourly wage.

Meeting Place:
In front of the Izumo no Okuni statue
on the bank of Kamo River,
next to Keihan Gion Shijo station and 3min walk from
Hankyu Kawaramachi station.

Agreement of Voluntary Participation in Tours:

By participating in any of the tours you are agreeing that KFWT is not responsible for any damage, injuries, accidents, etc, which might occur during the tour.
