Do I have to know French?
No- you don’t have to be a speaker of French to join. Some meetups though may focus on French language exchange.

This group provides quality, meaningful experiences in community, where thoughtful details and effort goes into organizing each event. Therefore, RSVPd members only attendance. aNO DROP-INs.
NO-SHOWS POLICY: and Last-minute cancellations put our ability to book terrific venues at risk! Your event organizers and fellow members will appreciate your courtesy, especially when there's a wait list and they hope to join!
RSVP FEES:
Yes, it actually costs the Organizers money to keep this group open. Meetup is technically NOT free for the group Organizers.

NOTIFICATIONS:
For the ability to communicate with you your EMAIL UPDATES and NOTIFICATIONS must be turned on in SETTINGS both on your computer and phone app. Without notifications you will miss out on newly posted events, but more importantly you will miss out on schedule changes. Important updates can include, time and meetup location changes, a rescheduled event date, and in some remote cases an event cancellation.
CHANGING YOUR SETTINGS
For instructions on how to change your settings, go to the Ladies Who Adore Vintage HOME page. Click on MORE (under the portal photo), then click on MESSAGE BOARD. Select "Email and notification settings." Make certain you've checked all the boxes and allow us to email and notify you.
Please note: the Message Board is available on the Web Application, but not on the Mobile App.
To edit settings on the MOBILE APP, go to your profile icon (bottom right corner), then go to the 3 dots icon (upper right corner). Select "Push notifications", then select "Change email updates." Make certain all options are GREEN.

COMPLIMENTARY 30 min DANCE LESSON !!
Taking place at the famous Pasadena Ballroom Dance Association.
This place is voted "Best" for beginner friendly, and overall ambience for learning the dances from the past....PLAN:
- Meet us in the lobby by 7:15
- Cover charge $25 (pay at the door)
- DANCE CLASS 7:30-8:00 pm— Join me in learning some cool steps together - no pressure we will learn together !
- Enjoy music of Chloe Perrier and her SEXTET BAND -
- Light refreshments available like lemonade, coffee, fruit, ice cream
- Music continues 8-11 pm ——stay as late as you’d like
- Grab a partner or dance on your own or with the group —nobody will really care what you do! so make sure to have fun while doing it !
FOOD/DRINK:
They will have a little table of complimentary refreshments, coffee, juice, ice cream, fruit.
With enough interest, we might walk over down the block for a bite afterwards. That is TBD :)DRESS:

First Day of Spring: Impressionism & Cafe Lunch at Norton Simon 🌳 🌼 🖼️
Norton Simon Museum, 411 W Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105, Iceland, ISMarch 20th is the first day of Spring!
And I can't think of a better way than spending an afternoon with some Impressionism and fresh air in a beautiful garden setting.After a year plus of renovations, including closure of their beautiful gardens, Norton Simon Museum has a beautiful newly improved lovely sculpture garden and pond, which is said to be the "Giverny of Pasadena".
You might even imagine Claude Monet making an appearance amidst the water lilies We will celebrate a little spring time first with garden lunch time and then with some art viewing.Admission
Museum Admission tickets can either be pre-reserved online or on-site.
$20 adults, $15 seniors, $0 for students and museum members
(Or buy at the entrance).

The guided (free), tour runs only once, from 1-2 pm.
It is come first serve, 20 persons max, so we should be checking in at their desk before 1 pm.PLAN:
- Museum parking is free
- Park and meet us at museum front entrance by 11:45am sharp, to get in line. Museum opens its doors at 12:00pm
- We will need sign up immediately at the entrance for their 1:00pm guided visit. Sign up is first-come-first serve basis. They can only take 20 persons on the tour. I can imagine this will be a popular one.
- We head first to the garden/cafe for light lunch and catch up.
- After lunch, enjoy the guided tour: The Impressionist Painter's Palette, which starts at 1:00 pm
- Afterwards, have some more time to enjoy the outdoor gardens, and maybe gift shop for those who are interested.
- Stay as long as you'd like, and/or enjoy the rest of the exhibitions at Norton Simon.
The Impressionist Painter's Palette: FREE guided museum tour.
With a Museum educator, look closely at Impressionist paintings by artists like Claude Monet and Alfred Sisley to discover how new attitudes about color and technical advances in paint changed the way that painters understood and represented the world.

- Locations: While specific Los Angeles, CA theaters for the 2026 re-release are not yet listed, the film is expected to have a broad, if not national, release. Previous special screenings have been held at Landmark's Nuart Theatre and AMC theaters in the area.
