Empathetic Inquiry

Join Rania Glass for an exercise in Empathetic Inquiry.

How well can we understand each other, our colleagues, or our users? Asking questions is a powerful means of bridging gaps in understanding across people, and approaching inquiry with deep empathy makes them that much more effective. We'll practice deep empathy questioning with a particular focus on aligning perspectives in this interactive workshop. Bring a notebook, something to write with, and your human-centered curiosity.

About the speaker:
Rania works as a UX Designer for a large, enterprise company. She centers her human-centered lens on communication between users and designers, designers and developers, and designers and designers. She's seen how good questioning and good listening supports collaboration, cross-disciplinary partnership, and strong teamwork - and she's excited to share this passion for communication with all of you.

Logistics:
Parking in the deck onsite is plentiful and free—just don't park in the reserved spots. Deluxe is a short Lyft from Sandy Springs or Dunwoody MARTA station. It's on the down slope of the hill (some maps send you to the building across the street).

No need to sign in at the welcome desk; just take elevator to 3rd floor, then turn left.
