This session is led by Lauren Stone, a founding member of Ladies that UX Atlanta and now one of the chapter's co-organizers. She is a Product Designer specializing in enterprise SaaS products with a decade of experience and a twice-certified OOUX strategist.

OOUX — the Object-Oriented UX methodology created by Sophia Prater — gives us a powerful, structured way to think about the objects in any system. In this workshop we're using that framework as our lens to explore the foundational discipline underneath it: Information Architecture.

We're keeping it focused. Just nouns.
You'll learn to:

  • Forage for the core objects in any system
  • Identify and classify what you find
  • Organize those nouns into a hierarchy
  • See how that structure maps directly to UI decisions

All experience levels welcome. Space is limited.
