Part 1: Optional dinner PRIOR to the Pasadena Bridge Party at Little Beast in Eagle Rock (5 min drive down the road). The Bridge Party will be packed! This is our time to share meaningful time together first. See separate post.

Summer is here! Time to get the “par-tay” started!! This event is perfect for our fun filled “Vintage” evening; reason why I selected the perfect Craftsman bungalow for our dining venue. There will be plenty of food truck vendors at the Bridge Party for additional snacks. Keep in mind festival food is generally steep.

WHAT IS THE BRIDGE PARTY?
Hosted by Pasadena Heritage, the Bridge Party is a lively community celebration on the historic Colorado Street Bridge. The event raises awareness and funds to support ongoing preservation of the Bridge and other historic landmarks championed by Pasadena Heritage.

LOCATION: Defenders Park
Corner of Orange Grove and Colorado Blvd. Pasadena, CA 91105

WHERE ARE THE ENTRANCES?
There are three entrances to the event: South Orange Grove at Colorado Boulevard is the main entrance, the far west end of the Bridge for those coming from that direction, and the north end cul-de-sac of South Grand Avenue. Only those with tickets, vendors and volunteers may enter at South Grand.

2025 Pasadena Heritage Bridge Party
Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

🛑NOTE: As a group most of us will be arriving after dinner from the Little Beast at approximately 7 PM. Please be certain to have your NOTIFICATIONS-ON. I will be posting our location once we arrive. We will most likely be entering from the far west end closer to Eagle Rock.

The Bridge Party was first launched in 1978. The beloved Pasadena tradition celebrates the historic Colorado Street Bridge and Pasadena Heritage’s ongoing efforts to preserve it. Held only every other year (don’t miss out) the event brings the community together for an unforgettable evening of history and local pride.

PARKING

• Free Street Parking: Available on South Grand Ave., South Orange Grove Ave., and side streets, but be mindful of "No Parking" signs.
• Maranatha High School Parking: Located at 169 S St. John Ave.
• Doheny Eye Institute Parking: Located at 150 N Orange Grove Blvd., enter via Kensington Pl.
• Elks Lodge Parking: Located at the corner of Orange Grove Blvd. and Green St, enter from Green St, for a flat fee of $20.
• Old Pasadena Parking: Flat rate parking is available after 5:00 p.m. with a free Pasadena Transit Bus circulating to the Bridge Party Stop.

Other Parking Information:

• Desiderio Neighborhood Park:
  Located under the Colorado Street Bridge at Arroyo and Colorado Boulevard, this park has a parking lot with 10 regular spaces and 1 ADA space, according to the City of Pasadena.
• Colorado Street Bridge (General):
  California Through My Lens recommends parking near the cul-de-sac at Green St and Grand Ave, and walking to the bridge.
