The perfect “Vintage” Summer Park Concert!!
Located at the most gorgeous neighborhood ‘historic’ park in Los Angeles County— Brand Park & Library. Nestled at the footsteps of the beautiful Verdugo Mountains (my neighborhood park).
Come join us for a truly lovely relaxing evening under the stars listening to the very multi-talented chanteuse Jessica Fichot. I had the privilege of seeing her in concert several years ago at a historic theatre in DTLA. She has such a beautiful voice!

JESSICA FICHOT
L.A. based chanteuse, songwriter and accordionist Jessica Fichot is a lot like her hometown of Paris: French at heart, but with a soul that's truly international.
Drawing from her multi-ethnic French / Chinese / American upbringing, her music fuses styles and languages, taking the listener on a twisting journey out of the French chanson tradition, into the lands of gypsy jazz, 1940s Chinese swing, international folk , and into the wilderness of her imagination. Listen to samples of her chansons: (http://www.jessicasongs.com/music/)
Recently, in addition to recording and performing with her band, Jessica started working on another (different but related) passion of hers: creating music and sound effects for indie video games. Visit her sister website: jessicaaudio.com (http://www.jessicaaudio.com/) to find out more about her work in video game audio.
With over 100 children's songs published in a dozen countries, Jessica also composes music for many children's educational programs. Listen to samples of her children's music: (http://www.jessicasongs.com/childrens-songs/)
CONCERT STARTS AT 7 PM- no seats provided (there’s a few park benches but they go VERY fast).
Come close to an hour early- 6:00 PM to find a spot to claim! We can enjoy our picnic together before the concert starts. Bring your own lawn chair or blanket, and food & beverage for our picnic! It will get very crowded! It’s NOT a large concert space.
Look for the MEETUP SIGN near the stage.
CONCERT LOCATION
The concert takes place on the lawn BEHIND Brand Library & Art Center. Picnic on the grassy hillsides. Performances run 60 - 90 minutes without intermission.
BRAND PARK & LIBRARY
Brand Park & Library is a true hidden gem located in North Glendale. Crowds are much smaller than other park concert series with a more intimate setting making it truly enjoyable to attend! See the Photo Gallery for park photos (including vintage photos) and fantastic park reviews!
If you have time come extra early and enjoy the interior of the Library & Art Center- former estate of Leslie C. Brand. They close on Fridays at 5PM.
5:30 PM (optional) PRE-CONCERT PICNIC TAKE-OUT AT KENNETH VILLAGE
1417 W. Kenneth Rd. Glendale
Corner of Kenneth Rd & Grandview. Brand Park is straight up the hill on Grandview.
I’ll be stopping at Kenneth Village just down the street from Brand Park (1 minute drive) to pickup a sandwich to take to the concert. I love Coffee Commissary- my go-to fave neighborhood sandwiches. They are delicious!! George’s Cucina Italiana has delicious pizza & pasta! If you like Mexican, Tacos Desvelados is really popular. If you are not in the mood for dinner you might want to just make a quick stop for DELICIOUS organic vegan frozen yogurt at Yoga-urt or a yummy pastry from Village French Bakery. It’s a short one-block Village with a few eateries to choose from.
