Ladies with Laugh Lines join NO KINGS Protest

Ladies with Laugh Lines (Silicon Valley, 40+) will make our voices heard as part of the NO KINGS Protest on Saturday, October 18
WHAT: On October 18, millions of us are rising again across our nation to show the world: America has no kings, and the power belongs to the people. Join our Ladies with Laugh Lines group and others, in coordination with this nationwide movement, to stand and demonstrate our rejection of presidential overreaching and our support for the democratic norms our country was founded on.
WHEN: Saturday, Oct 18, setting up at 1:30 pm for a protest from 2pm - 4pm PDT. (You can come and go any time.)
WHERE: On El Camino Real in Sunnyvale, near the intersection with Bernardo Ave. We’ll be roughly in front of Chase Bank at 1234 W El Camino Real, Sunnyvale, 94087 https://maps.app.goo.gl/Yo1gtjBTV1tKajXq6 If you can find the Arby’s, go ahead and park, we are nearby. We will be primarily standing or sitting - not necessary to parade or march.

WHO: You, and any friends, neighbors, and family members who want to stand up for our democracy
HOW: Bring the basics (see below) and walk, ride or drive to our location. Park away from any open businesses to be considerate of them (there will be plenty of free parking).
WHAT TO BRING:

• A portable chair (if you want to sit)
• A hat (recommended)
• Comfortable shoes
• Drinking water in a reusable container (I will have 6 gallons of water to refill your container)
• Protest signs or props (recommended)

• Easy to eat snacks to share on our Ladies with Laugh Lines tables (optional)
• Halloween costume (optional)
• Megaphone, drum, other instrument you want to use
• Your commitment to non-violent demonstration
• Flexibility
