Tropical Birds of Gregory Canyon

Join me for a short evening walk starting in Gregory Canyon. There will be many Broad Tailed Humming birds marking their territory by shooting up 30 or feet in the air with their buzzing sounds this time of year. Also there will be Virginia and Macgillivray's Warblers in the area. The question is will they show themselves. This location also has some resident Black Headed Grosbeaks, and yellow breasted chats. So let's see if we can find them. Meet at the Gregory Canyon trailhead. We will be going up a side trail not the main trail ,as this trail is thick with the best bird habitat along the from range. Elevation gain will be about 400 feet, but we will be pausing along the trail. It is a rather narrow trail so I am limited the number of people to 12.
