Qi Gong breath and movement offers us an invitation to come home . . . to our birthright state of embodied, felt deep sense of knowing connection with the universe. Qi Gong is a simple recipe for bringing together a unity of intention, breathing and moving. . . to give shape to the dancing flow of heavenly sky expanse and earthy grounding nourishment that ever creates and animates our bodies.

This Qi Gong gathering will provide an opportunity to explore, improvise and deepen a personal feeling of connection to the flows of energy through our arms, legs, spine and core around the Taoist Chinese medicine maps of knowing our spontaneous, ever present bridging between heaven and earth. As the natural, playful, open connections are deepened and made vivid with simple effortless movements, we will practice two easily learnable, beautiful forms of Qi Gong: the Five Moving Forces form of ChungLiang Al Huang, and the Eight Pieces of Brocade classic.

Teachings will include the visions and lore of the sacred flows of Lifeforce~Qi through our bodies and how that connects to the cardinal directions, seasons and times of day, celestial bodies, emotions, internal organs and the meridian channels that weave our tapestry of connections between the heavens and the earth. Internal cultivation of this knowledge through laying down and sitting meditations, shaking…rocking and rolling around, witnessing together and sharing will make this a soulful, enlivening group experience. Come join us and cultivate your connection with the fountain of life force miraculously flowing through everything.

Beginner’s open mind is a blessed state.

This is a drop in class; we are welcoming of all lifeforce cultivators.

Total beginners and seasoned practitioners of decades & lifetimes will find a good place in our circle. Come once, come often . . . join our merry Qi Gong band!
