Start your engines, it’s-a Mario Kart time!

This month, Ground Kontrol is featuring Mario Kart World on the Nintendo Switch 2 with prizes for the top three players! Warm up for the tournament with open casual matches beginning in the red side lounge at 6pm, and then kick off the tournament at 7pm. Tournament sign-ups will begin at 6pm in the lounge.

Tournament details:
– Mario Kart World (Nintendo Switch 2)
– Pro controllers & GameCube controller adapter provided (feel free to bring your own controller!)
– 32 player cap
– 150cc, no AI, all items, random tracks
– 4 players per round, 4 races per round, top 2 players based on points earned from race results proceed to next round

LET'S PLAY SOME TENNIS! 🎾

• Skill Level: All skill levels.
• Player Count: Singles or doubles.
• Court(s): Six fenced-in concrete courts, we play on the lower courts. If those are full, we play on the upper courts. Depending on ratio of players' skill levels attending, one to two courts will be for more advanced players and one to two courts reserved for all levels.
• Bathrooms: Nearby in between track and baseball diamond.
• Supplies: Please bring your own racket, we will not be supplying rackets for players. If you can, please bring a can or two of your own balls just in case. Remember to bring drinks and snacks if need be. Please note that we only play tennis, we do not play pickleball.
• Waitlist: If you are on the waitlist, please message a host directly or on the event's comments to check in to find out status.
• Location: Majority of the time event will take place at Lake Oswego High School, but occasionally we will play at Lakeridge High School or George Rogers Park (just pay attention to the comments/announcements for the week).

Note to all: In order to hold each event we require a minimum of 6 confirmed players 90 minutes prior to the event.
If you sign up for an event, please attend the event. If you cannot attend an event, please politely change your status to "Not Going" no less than 90 minutes prior to the event so that hoss as well as those on the waitlist can plan accordingly. Please note that individuals who repeatedly sign up for events without attending, and not marking themselves as "Not Going" in advance of events, may be removed from this Meetup group. LET'S PLAY SOME VOLLEYBALL! 🏐

• Skill Level: All skill levels are welcome, BUT
• Court A (blue net): advanced players (doubles and 3v3)
• Court B (yellow net): all skill levels (3v3 up to 5v5)
• *Courts C-D (grass): all skill levels (3v3 up to 5v5) When attendee count is high enough and those with the nets are attending, court(s) will open up on the grass for all skill levels, or competitive only, situation dependent.
• *A note on arrival time, please understand that if you arrive earlier than the set start time both sand courts will still be in use for competitive level play (0900-1200).
• Player Count: Doubles, 3v3, 4v4, 5v5. (We like to avoid 6v6).
• Court(s): Two sand courts and, when needed, grass court(s).
• Bathrooms: Next to courts.
• Supplies: If you have your own volleyball please bring it. If you have your own nets (for grass volleyball) please bring those as well. Remember to bring drinks and snacks if need be.
• Waitlist: If you are on the waitlist, please message a host directly or on the event's comments to check in to find out status.

Animal Companions
Animal companions are welcome to attend. If you are bringing an animal companion to this event, please adhere to this policy:

• Please keep your animal companion out of the way of players.
• Ensure that your animal companion is friendly towards people and any other attending animal companions
• Please keep your animal companion secure (via leash, harness, halter, or carrier).

For the comfort and health of all our attendees, all event areas are non-smoking and non-vaping, which includes e-cigarettes, traditional cigarettes and marijuana.
