Lakeland Way part 1:- Troutbeck to Grasmere

A repeat of last week's walk as a few walkers missed out on the event. Ann-Marie and Jo have kindly agreed to lead this walk again this week for anyone interested.

Meet at 8.30am at Troutbeck on A592 (near the Church) Grid reference SD413028
10 miles walk to Grasmere
Bus back from Grasmere to Ambleside or Windermere which then intersepts a bus back up to Troutbeck. Last week Nicky caught bus back to Troutbeck Bridge about 2.45 from Ambleside and this would intersept the 508 bus up by St Anne's School nicely for a five minute trip back to the car at Troutbeck Church (or Nicky walked it in 30 minutes). Another option alight at Brockhole and walk back to Troubeck via Wain Lane or Murt Lane.
