Hello Pet Parents! Looking for dog training in a group setting? Sensible Canine's group training classes are a fun and engaging way to learn skills and build trust in a structured environment with other dogs and their owners through positive reinforcement.
We offer relationship focused, science based techniques and positive reinforcement training for you and your dog that address a variety of manners and behavioral needs. We will help you and your dog better understand one another and to build trust that makes learning fun and effective. Our goal is to help improve the lives of you and your pup!

Dog Manners Group Training - Sensible Skills

Sensible Canine's group training classes are a fun and engaging way to learn skills and build trust in a structured environment with other dogs and their owners through positive reinforcement. All classes are held in Lakewood at Mantayo Kennels and Dog School.
This class is our general manners course in which we will teach you and your dog how to work though many basic skills throughout the course of 5 sessions using positive reinforcement methods. You and your dog will build a stronger bond while practicing these skills and adding distractions to solidify your dog’s ability to perform them. This class is limited to 6 dogs.

Thursday, 1/8/26 – Thursday, 2/5/26 from 6:30-7:30 PM
Payment
$230 total for the 5-week course. Reach out to us by email info@sensiblecanine.com or schedule a free call through our website, if you prefer. Once you let us know that you would like to move forward, we will send you the forms in order to secure your spot. Your place in class will not be confirmed until you pay the invoice, sign our group training contract and send updated vaccination records for your participating dog.

What is Covered
Focus and attention skills, Sit, Down, Stay, Leave It, Drop It, Loose Leash Walking, Polite Greetings, Relax on a Mat, Recall, Building on Distractions
Requirements
- In order to attend, your dog must be over 4 months and fully vaccinated for DH2PP, Rabies and Bordetella.
- Dogs who are anxious, fearful, aggressive or excessively excitable around other dogs and/or people are not a good fit for this class but may benefit from private training.
- We welcome the entire family for training so long as there is an adult present (for children under 13) and no one is disruptive to class.
