Make new contacts. Find new clients or customers. Hire a new employee. Find a job. Make new friends!
This will be a space for friendly and outgoing LGBT people from all walks of life, occupations, and backgrounds to come together and expand their network! Events will be relaxed and have a no attitude vibe to ensure a professional and inclusive environment. In other words, people should be happy to look you in the eye, walk over, and talk to you. We encourage you to do the same.
At least one networking event will take place every month in LA, and maybe one social event as well. For now, we'll start off with once a month and as the group grows we can continue to add more dates. Come join us and make some new friends and professional contacts!
If you RSVP that you're attending, please be sure to attend. If your plans change and you can't go, kindly update your RSVP. The event might generate a waiting list since we'll start with a small venue, so if you RSVP that you're going and then don't show up, you're taking a spot away from someone who might really want to be there. Please be considerate of other members.
Our first event of 2019 will work through a suggested donation of $7 (to cover organizing costs) and from there it will eventually be a small fee to help cover costs, especially as the events grow.
Please do NOT announce our events on social media like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. Feel free to talk about the group there, but we prefer that interested people join the MeetUp group first since it's RSVP only, for now.
