Landmark Illustrators

To meetup in person and make art of the environment on location. Similar to Urban Sketchers. The goal is to have an group that meets in the central NJ area, on weekends. The goal may be in the future if the group gets established to apply to be an official chapter of Urban Sketchers. I often pick locations where there might be something to do after like hike, event, shop. for people that want.

A: Making art on location as a group

- Q. Who should join your group
A: Open to everyone that wants to make art in an outdoor setting. The locations may require some walking or sitting and prioritize travel within 45 minutes of central NJ, but your welcome to travel farther.

-Q Any dues or fees you plan to charge members
A: N/a It is a free group and participating with the group itself doesnt require a fee. We try to avoid locations that have a cost, (In 2026 they were all free) but if there is ever one that requires a small parking or park entrance fee, usually 10$ or less, we'll make it clear.

- Q The group's affiliation, if it's associated with a business or organization
A: There is no affiliation at the moment. We are not currently apart of Urban Sketchers but follow a similar approach. We may occasionally hand out flyers at local art clubs, but we are a stand alone group at this time.
