Welcome to Language Exchange Brighton with native English speakers.
If you are new to the group no worries, we are a friendly crowd. You will be greeted by one of the hosts who will
Introduce you to members and you can practise your chosen language.
This group is particularly suited to international members who want to practise English, make some friends in Brighton and understand some more about English language and culture.
We also welcome native speakers who can help support members who are new to the group and UK. Hosts and volunteers have a wealth of knowledge of language, travel culture, so if there is specific language you wish to learn or exchange, we can put you in touch with other like minded people.
Blend and Brew cafe, is a few mins walk down under brighton station situated at 44 Trafalgar Street, just past Brighton Toy and Model Museum.
It’s a smallish cafe so grab yourself a freshly grounded coffee or pick from one of the delicious pastries/ cakes. Lunch time menu is also available. Easy to find us, we are the chatty group at the back of the cafe. If you are unsure just ask one of the friendly staff who will point you to us.
As we the ethos of meet-up groups, we are a welcome group. Our group reflects our diverse, multicultural, tolerant & inclusive city. Do discuss languages you speak, are learning/ would like to practise etc. Please share great experiences and what to do in Brighton.
We only have limited area, so some members may prefer to stand and mingle. Our events can become busy, so if you know you cannot attend do change your RSVP, so we can offer your spot to others.
We run the event every Saturdays, 3:00 to 5:00pm excluding bank holidays and vacation time.
Afterwards some members may continue socialising at the nearby Lord Nelson Inn
for a quick drink.
