Welcome to/歡迎黎到 Language Mix!
Language Mix is a cool event that meets up weekly to exchange different languages and meet new people from around the world. Started in 2015 in Shanghai as a way for locals and expats/travelers to come together, LM grew to become the most popular language exchange in the city. We think Hong Kong needs to get in on the action.
How does it work?
Simple. You just find the registration table when you enter, put on some flag stickers that represent your native language and the languages you want to learn, get a glass of beer/coffee/tea(or maybe a cocktail), and join a group! We recommend showing up on time if possible, but any time is fine.
Alcohol is served at the events but you don't need to drink to join. There are plenty of non-alcoholic options. Everyone is welcome!
Where are we meeting?
Language Mix meets up to practice languages in the relaxed environment of a bar or coffeeshop. We want to take you far away from the language classroom and show you what languages are for: talking to real people and having fun!

Do I need to speak English or Cantonese/Mandarin fluently?
唔緊要/no worries! As long as you can speak any language, you're welcome to come and share your experiences.
