Are you like me — enchanted by Northern Thai culture? The colors of handwoven textiles. The aroma of a market stall at dawn. The flavors of Northern Thai dishes, the lantern light, the quiet patience of an artisan at work. Lanna — the "land of a million rice fields" — is a magical place with deep cultural roots, and it's even better when explored slowly, together.
We gather regularly for culture, craft, and connection:
- Create art and crafts side by side — painting, dyeing, weaving, making
- Wander local markets and taste our way through them
- Visit local artisans and workshops, and hear their stories
- Watch Thai films and attend local concerts together
- Share good food and even better conversation
This isn't a group for fast, touristy box-ticking. We move sabai sabai (สบายๆ)— slowly, gently. We come to create with others, to listen and learn from local people, to appreciate rather than consume, and to build lasting friendships along the way.
No art skills required — just curiosity, respect, and an open heart. Whether you're Thai, a longtime resident, or newly arrived, you're welcome here.
