Paparazzi Meetup
Details
Sycamore Creek Church is the place that hosts the dancer shoot last year. they are having an annual fun raiser on 9/26. They are asking Meetup members if they would be willing to volunteer their time as paparazzi's for the event.
This basically means you would be taking casual photos of the event, people, groups and the facility as well as photos of speakers and presentations.
It would help if you have a hot shoe flash but you can get by which just using a high ISO and available light.
This will be a good opportunity to add some event photos here portfolio and get some experience in case you are asked to do this again by a non-profit.
