All our trips are fully guided, and we handle the logistics so you can enjoy the walking, the scenery, and the chance to meet new people. There’s no membership required — simply choose the trips that interest you.

Join Large Outdoors for a relaxed and sociable two-night walking break exploring the Yorkshire Coast, with time in Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay. Based in Scarborough, this fully guided trip combines coastal walking, local history, and easy travel with everything organised for you.
You’ll follow sections of the Cleveland Way, linking coastal villages, sea cliffs and bays, with plenty of time to explore along the way.### What to Expect:

Join Large Outdoors for a sociable three-night midweek walking break based in Pickering, with three days exploring a mix of moorland, coast and some of the best-known villages in the North York Moors.
Our plans include walking around Goathland and Grosmont, the coast between Staithes and Whitby, and the Hole of Horcum.
Most people come on their own, so you don't need to bring a walking partner. Groups are small, friendly and walking is at a steady pace with regular breaks.

On Saturday we’ll walk around nine miles through the countryside and parkland surrounding the Blenheim Estate, including a visit to the remains of North Leigh Roman Villa.On Sunday we head to Burford for a shorter walk through the surrounding Cotswolds countryside, finishing with time for a pub lunch before heading home.
This is a relaxed, sociable walking break rather than a visit to Blenheim Palace itself – admission to the Palace and formal gardens isn’t included.COMING ON YOUR OWN?
