When the Product Manager title was first introduced within the software industry, it took a while, but we figured out what that role was responsible for. Now that companies outside of the software industry are advertising jobs with this title it has really changed what might be expected of someone with this title which has REALLY had real impacts on hiring, job hunting and expectations once you start a job. Jordan is a Product leader with 20+ years of B2B Enterprise SaaS experience, 10+ years in team leadership roles. He owns the product strategy and roadmap, via high touch client engagements / discovery, data, and industry research. Jordan has worked on very complex enterprise products that solve complicated real-world problems. Jordan believes that team "management" is about driving the product team’s development, growth, and best practices through mentorship and training.
Jordan believes that the best insights come from advisory boards, Win/Loss analysis, and knowing your competitors.
Currently, Jordan is a Product Management Consultant / Head of Product. Prior to this he was the Head of Product at UtilizeCore and Equip ID, which were SaaS companies in the facilities space. And the VP of Product at ServiceChannel, and Sr Manager of Product at Medidata a global provider of clinical trial SaaS solutions to the Pharma industry.
Jordan holds an MBA and an MS with high honors from Boston University, and a BS in Biology from Union College.
