¥a jugar!

🏐 Beach Volleyball Meetup — Learn by Playing

We’re getting together for a 2 vs 2 beach volleyball meetup, following the real rules of beach volleyball, but with one simple approach: learn by playing and have fun.

Those are not conventional training sessions. The main focus will be on playing, while a game facilitator will guide the sessions and introduce small activities designed to help us naturally improve our technique and learn how to actually play beach volleyball.

How will it work?

🏐 We’ll start with around 5 minutes of free play and ball passing, so everyone can warm up, get comfortable, and the facilitator can get an idea of the overall level of the group.

🎯 Based on this, the facilitator will introduce a specific game routine for the day, focused on improving a particular skill such as receiving, setting, serving, attacking, defending, communication, etc.

đŸ”„ Then
we play! The activities will be designed so that technical improvement happens through the game itself, using situations that are as close as possible to a real beach volleyball match.

Important

The facilitator is not a professional high-level beach volleyball coach. Their role is to facilitate the games, guide the group, and introduce activities and situations that help everyone learn and improve.

For this reason, if you already have a very high level of beach volleyball experience or are looking for professional-level technical training, this meetup is probably not what you’re looking for. We kindly ask experienced high-level players to leave the spots available for people who want to learn and improve through playing.

The idea is simple: come to play, learn, make mistakes, improve and, most importantly, enjoy beach volleyball. đŸâ˜€ïž
