About us
Let's meet outside for some ART! My interest is watercolor and sketching, what's yours?
All skill levels are welcome. I'll pick a location once a month, and take suggestions for more frequent meetups. Bring your own supplies (even if it's a pen and notebook), things to keep you comfortable (chair, hat, water) and ideas for the next event.

MVAS Nature Journaling at NMSU Landscape Garden (8:30 MINI-LESSON)
NMSU Landscape Garden, 109 West University Ave., Las Cruces, NM, USWe're told that the Master Gardeners are planting large numbers of flowers to attract pollinators in the field next to the demonstration garden, which means that there could be a bumper crop of butterflies there! Even if there aren't, the established garden and water feature provide plenty to explore.
Join us at 8:30 for a mini-lesson on drawing butterflies, or at 9 to jump right into journaling. The garden is on the south side of W. University west of Main Street. Parking is available along the road and in a small parking lot. Learn more on their website: https://fabiangarciasc.nmsu.edu/visit.html-
